The broader language surrounding personal style is that it’s about expressing who you are as an individual. So why do some style rules expect us to dress to a type? It’s always seemed odd to me that my body shape is either a pear, apple, stick, or another shape that I can’t quite recall right now. I could also never get to grips with the fact that I had ‘flaws’ that could, and should, be camouflaged.
